Sunny Peppy Pine is now resting in peace up in heaven. He gave us 9 wonderful years and a lot of beautiful babies!!! He will be missed dearly. He was a 96.8% foundation bred, grulla stallion. He was a line bred Peppy San/Leo horse, and exhibits the marvelous reining and cow sense of these famous forbears.

Sunny Peppy Pine was registered in the following registries: AQHA, FQHR, NRHA, IBHA, and ABRA. He had national halter points and IBHA Register Of Merit (ROM) in dun factor. He also had AQHA Points in Working Cow Horse. He placed 2nd out of 11 horses in 2001.

All his foals have been dun or grulla in color, and homozygous for the black gene, though he has not been tested. His sire was homozygous for both the black and the dun genes. They all exhibit good bone, straight legs and great confirmation. They also have his great mind and intelligence. They all are people friendly and want to work. One of his colt was purchased as a replacement stallion for CMC Farms in Campo, California.
